Kidpreneur: Moguls In The Making
Kidpreneur is a workshop style program that aims to develop and support young entrepreneurs in the Piedmont Triad area. For years I’ve worked with young adults in career technical programs that encourage students that aren’t college bound to prepare them for the workforce. One thing that stood out is the amount of kids that wanted to run their own businesses. Entering the workforce was their path to learning about business while earning money.
The goal of Kidpreneur is to support them so that they can step right into their own business upon graduation. We instill and cultivate the Entrepreneurial Mindset, which is a methodology that every one can utilize to excel in their respective field. We focus on creating a network of families, with a variety of skill sets, in various stages of their businesses, to support one another, in person and online via Mighty Networks. Our program also looks to partner and collaborate with other youth entrepreneurship programs such as Young Boss CEO Camp in Winston-Salem, NC.
We offer panel discussions, networking sessions and workshops that are planned out to support all aspects of the business and various industries. Kidpreneuer’s mission is to be a starting point for new ventures and a growth tool for established businesses.
